LCEC signs two ESMES contracts

On 7 May 2021, and following two separate public tendering procedures, the Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation (LCEC) signed two contracts with Energy Efficiency Group (EEG) within the project "Energy Smart Mediterranean Schools Network project (ESMES)" financed by the European Union (EU) through the ENI CBC Med Programme.

One contract is for the ESMES energy monitoring activities in 6 public schools, whereby the schools will be equipped with smart meters to track the real-time energy consumption. As for the second contract, it includes an energy audit which will be performed at Ecole des Arts et Metiers in Dekwaneh and will be followed by renewable energy and energy efficiency (REEE) rehabilitation plans and pilot actions.
