After starting her career as a lighting engineer, Reem believes that moving to LCEC provides her with a multifaceted experience and a greater impact in shaping Lebanon’s energy transition.
Reem is continuously involved in the implementation of rooftop and large scale RE initiatives across Lebanon, namely the 10 solar PV public bids in landmark buildings, the 180 MW solar PV farms, and the solar plus storage project. She is currently the project coordinator of the Energy Smart Mediterranean Schools Network (ESMES) targeting the optimization of energy use in public schools through innovative, monitoring-based RE and EE pilot actions.
Reem joined the Future Energy Leaders’ Programme (FEL-100) initiated by the World Energy Council in 2018 and is currently a member of the Women in Storage Mentoring Programme.
