Jamil has joined the FELL in 2021 to contribute in the Lebanese Energy and Environment scheme improvement and to advance decarbonization of the energy sector in Lebanon.

He studied Chemical Engineering at the Lebanese University and the French Institute of Petroleum (IFP). 

Jamil is currently working as strategy consultant at Enea Consulting (Paris); focusing on decarbonization projects for corporate and industrial stakeholders.

 Before joining the decarbonization world, he worked for 2 years in the oil industry at ExxonMobil, mainly in a refinery on tasks like optimizing production process conditions, improving economic yields and energy-efficiency of refining processes.

He also has an engineering experience at Technip Energies where he worked on steam cracker design projects.

In his spare time, you would find him either hiking, watching a movie or discovering new cuisines!
